FAQs
Absolutely. In fact, most of our members started as complete beginners. My job is to meet you where you are, with clear guidance and zero judgment. You don’t need experience, flexibility, or fancy gear—just an open mind and a willingness to try. Every class is beginner-friendly, and you’ll always be supported.
Not at all. That’s one of the biggest myths in yoga. You come to yoga to become more flexible, not because you already are. Every body is different, and yoga is about progress, not perfection. I offer modifications and alternatives so you can practice safely and confidently at your own level.
Expect a warm welcome, a calm atmosphere, and a supportive community. I’ll introduce myself, show you around, and explain exactly what to do, so you’re never left guessing. We start with breathwork, move through accessible poses, and end with deep relaxation. You don’t have to keep up with anyone—just show up and listen to your body.
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in—think gym clothes or anything stretchy. You can bring your own mat if you have one, but I have mats and props available for you. Bring a water bottle, and that’s it. No shoes or socks needed; yoga is practiced barefoot.
Most likely, yes—but let me know before class so I can suggest safe modifications or help you avoid certain movements. If you have a specific diagnosis, always check with your doctor first. My priority is your safety and well-being. Yoga can be adapted for many conditions, and I’m here to support you.
Yoga is about more than just movement—it’s about connecting your body, mind, and breath. You’ll build strength and flexibility, but you’ll also develop mindfulness, stress resilience, and a sense of calm. It’s a holistic practice, not just a workout.
You never have to force anything. Yoga is not about “getting it right”—it’s about tuning into your body and moving in a way that feels good for you. I offer lots of options and will always encourage you to listen to yourself first. Progress happens over time; comparison isn’t part of the process.
Yoga can improve strength, flexibility, balance, and posture. But just as importantly, it helps reduce stress, improve focus, boost mood, and support better sleep. Many people also find a deeper sense of connection to themselves and others through regular practice.
Yoga is not a religion. While it has roots in ancient traditions, here at Momoyoga, yoga is a personal practice open to everyone—regardless of beliefs. We focus on movement, breath, and mindfulness. You are always welcome to bring your own values and intentions to your mat.
It’s easy—just visit our website or contact me directly. You can book single classes, purchase class packs, or become a member. If you’re unsure where to start, reach out and I’ll help you find the right class for your needs. I want your first experience to be smooth and stress-free.
